The Australian Furniture Removers Association (AFRA) is the main industrial body that regulates and supports the Australian removals industry. If a removalist company has been accredited by AFRA, it means it adheres to strict policies and guidelines, including valuing the safety of its staff, customers, and their possessions — and it means they can offer full insurance. Two Men and a Truck are proud AFRA members.
Two Men and a Truck offer comprehensive cover in two ways: Premium Cover (a blanket policy based on first loss — best for people who want all their belongings covered without specifying each item) and Choice Cover (you select which items to insure and for how much). Both can cover goods in transit, theft, water damage, fire, and explosion. Home and contents insurance typically does NOT cover your goods while moving into or out of a vehicle or shipping container, which is where the highest risk lies.
Two Men and a Truck look after fragile items using boxes, mobile wardrobes, bubble wrap, paper, blankets, and special wrapping, at no extra cost. Their packing materials are designed to safely move possessions of all textures, shapes, and sizes. They also offer a range of 100% recyclable boxes and packing materials for those who prefer to pack themselves.
Two Men and a Truck offer flexible short or long-term storage options, tailored to fit your budget and unique requirements. Storage insurance is also available to keep your goods protected while in their care.
