Moving Made Easy

Two Men And A Truck move 100 bikes

More than 100 cyclists embarked on the 102km journey from Windsor to Randwick via Berowra as part of the annual charity event.

More cyclists joined the peloton at Berowra.

Two Men And A Truck removalists George, Chris and Ness packed all the bikes and equipment into one of our trucks at the Randwick-based hospital before dawn and transported them to the starting line at Windsor Public School.

Then they drove to Berowra to drop off the remaining bikes.

The cyclists rode with support vehicles through picturesque Oakville (pictured), Annangrove, Dural and Galston before pedalling into Berowra. They continued through St Ives and Chatswood before reaching the waiting crowds at Randwick.

Two Men And A Truck has also done charity work for The Salvation Army, Make a Wish Foundation, Jump Start Foundation in Vanuatu and recently sponsored the Anne Frank Exhibition in Australia.

CEO Catherine Gambrellis said the company’s involvement with charities gives employees the sense of being able to give back to the community.

“I think people respond to companies that are more socially aware and like to give back,” she said.

Pedal 4 Kids is one of several events leading up to the all-day broadcast of the Gold Telethon on Channel Nine, WIN and NBN, Monday 10th June 2013. For more information go to www.goldtelethon.org.au
